30 years ago….
The Freeport Outdoor Recreation Group (FORG), led by the passionate Freeport resident Bob Smith, embarked on a noble mission to give our community more outdoor athletic opportunities. Through the efforts of FORG and the community, the necessary funds were raised, with support from the Town of Freeport. These courts, located on the Freeport Middle School fields, are a much-used recreational resource for our community.
